Mrs. Barnes is responsible for nursing and other designated patient-care services throughout the hospital, including establishment of standards and providing overall strategic decisions of all aspects of nursing. She works with all departments and medical staff members to ensure satisfaction, quality, and safety.

Morris Bullock, Vice President - Human Resources and Community Relations
Mr. Bullock is responsible for ensuring SRMC has the structure and quality mix of skills and abilities in managers and employees. He assists in maintaining a team-focused environment, sensing and responding to customer feedback. Along with human resource leadership, Mr. Bullock provides executive leadership for SRMC’s community education initiatives, outreach activities, and community relations.

Reid Caldwell, Vice President - Organizational Quality and Ancillary Services
Mr. Caldwell is the executive responsible for organization quality initiatives and accreditation. With SRMC’s commitment to “quality regional healthcare” in our mission statement, Mr. Caldwell works to ensure visibility and accountability for overall organizational quality. He also provides executive leadership to various ancillary departments.

C. Thomas Johnson, III, Vice President - Organizational Development/CFO
Mr. Johnson has the responsibility for the financial areas within the organization and leads business development initiatives. His role includes operational support and leadership areas. Mr. Johnson also provides executive leadership for promoting SRMC’s market position.

David Sumner, Vice President - Strategic Management and Support Services
Mr. Sumner is responsible for organizational strategic and institutional change initiatives. His role in strategic management includes oversight of the strategic plan, as well as leadership development and internal change processes. Mr. Sumner also provides executive leadership for various support departments.
