| Description | The Gibson Cancer Center, an affiliate of Southeastern Regional Medical Center, needs licensed cosmetologists, manicurists and massage therapists to volunteer at the “Terrific Tuesday” event on the first Tuesday of each month from 9 a.m. until noon. Volunteers are also needed to oversee arts and crafts activities during the event. “Terrific Tuesday” is designed to help patients and their family members feel more at ease during their visits to the Center by offering healthy refreshments, crafts, manicures, makeovers, hair cuts and chair massages.
In addition, the Center is looking for volunteers Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. until noon to distribute movies, music, magazines and refreshments to patients.
