Southeastern Health Network: A Physician/Hospital Organization (PHO)

When you choose Southeastern Health Network, you are selecting a winning combination! Southeastern Health Network was organized as a cooperative entity through which community physicians and Southeastern Regional Medical Center provide a system of healthcare services and programs for employers and managed-care plans.

Southeastern Health Network was developed to give easy access to a comprehensive range of quality health care services while emphasizing the appropriate management of care in order to contain costs to the employer. A high value is placed upon prevention and wellness, with employer and employee satisfaction and excellent health care outcomes the ultimate goal. Southeastern Health Network currently has over 70 physician providers, both primary care and specialty-trained.

Southeastern Regional Medical Center is an equal partner in the Network and has established an extensive array of health care services so that most people can receive care while remaining close to family and friends. If highly specialized services are needed, these are readily available through existing affiliations and agreements with University-based health care systems.

Southeastern Health Network provides services either through direct contracting with employers or through existing health and managed-care plans.
