Camp Care Volunteer Training

New Camp Care Volunteers are required to attend training in preparation for their first weekend experience. Three modules are required: "Grief 101", "Children's Grief" and the "Orientation to Camp Site." These are provided at Southeastern Hospice Conference Room, 2002 North Cedar Street. Contact Rev. Dean Carter to register for this event.

Parent-Camper Registration

7:00 PM Tuesday, May 7, 2013 at 2002 North Cedar Street.

Parents and children are given orientation to the goals of the weekend as well as asked to register with medical history and release forms, including parental/guardian permission to attend.

Camp Care Weekend

Friday - Sunday, May 17-19, 2013 -  drop off  and pickup at 2002 North Cedar Street.

Beginning with pack up of belongings for the trip to the Laurel Hill camp site, Camp Monroe, the children will be provided grief activities, fun activities, meals, lodging and transportation to meet bereavement support needs.
