Southeastern Regional Medical Center announces the establishment of a new primary care clinic, Southeastern Medical Clinic Bladenboro.
The clinic, which will open Monday, October 10, is located at 302 South Main Street.
Family Medicine Specialist Susan Aycock, M.D., of Southeastern Health Center Clarkton, will provide care at the clinic on Mondays and Tuesdays. Certified Physician Assistant Heather Pait will provide care at the clinic Wednesday through Friday each week. Dr. Aycock earned her medical degree of East Carolina University in 1987 and completed residency training at Duke/Fayetteville Area Regional Health Center in Fayetteville, N.C. in 1990. She is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and has been affiliated with Southeastern Health Center Clarkton since it opened in March 2008.
Aycock is a Lumberton native who currently resides in Clarkton with her husband, Jack Johnson. She has three sons, Noah, Jacob and Solomon Lennon.
Pait, formerly of Bladen Medical Associates, earned a master’s degree in health science from Duke University in May 2003 and a bachelor’s degree in physician assistant studies at East Carolina University in Greenville, NC, in June 2003. She previously worked for Southeastern in the cardiac catheterization laboratory. Her special interests include family medicine, women’s health and pediatric care.
Pait lives in Bladenboro with her husband, Travis, and daughter, Megan, 5, and son, Jackson, 3.
Southeastern Medical Clinic Bladenboro will offer complete family practice services.
