Elizabeth Gignac, DO

  • Attended medical school at Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine.
  • She completed her EM residency at Metro Health Hospital in Grand Rapids, MI.
  • After completing residency, she practiced Emergency Medicine in the Memorial Healthcare System in Hollywood, FL.
  • She joined the medical staff at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton in 2014, where she serves as both associate medical director of the ED and program director of the Emergency Medicine residency.
  • She lives in Fayetteville, NC with her husband and two children. Together, they enjoy exploring North Carolina, and love visiting family in Michigan and Florida.

 

 

 

 


John J. Reed, M.D.

ED Medical Director

John J. Reed, M.D.

  • Attended medical school at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C.
  • Completed EM residency at the University of Pittsburg Medical Center.
  • He also serves as the medical director for Robeson County Emergency Medical Services.
  • Before coming to SRMC in 2009, he directed emergency operations at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville, NC for six years.
  • Dr. Reed and his wife make their home in Fayetteville and have three children.

 

 

 

 

 


William McCammon, D.O.

William McCammon, D.O.

  • Attended medical school at WV School of Osteopathic Medicine in Lewisburg, WV.
  • Completed EM residency at Metro Health Hospital in Grand Rapids, MI.
  • Before joining the EM core faculty at SRMC, Dr. McCammon served as the EMS director for Iredell Memorial Hospital in Statesville, NC.
  • Dr. McCammon's EM special interests include medical informatics.

 

 

 

 

 

 


Katherine Fredlund, M.D.

Katherine Fredlund, M.D.

  • Attended medical school at State University of New York, University at Buffalo School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences in Buffalo, NY.
  • Completed EM residency at UNC Chapel Hill.
  • Dr. Fredlund holds a master of science degree in Exercise Physiology from Baylor University.
  • Dr. Fredlund's EM special interests include ultrasound. She is also an avid runner and cyclist.
