The 116 golfers who played in Southeastern Health Foundation’s annual tournament will make it possible for local students to train for careers in health care.
Twenty-nine teams competed in the 23rd annual Swing for Good Health golf tournament held May 2 at Pinecrest Country Club. The tournament was chaired by David Walker.
The event raised $19,900 for the SeHealth Foundation, according to Foundation Director Sissy Grantham. Proceeds from the tournament will help fund academic scholarships for students who have chosen to study medicine, nursing or allied health and who plan to return to this community to practice.
Southeastern Regional Medical Center Foundation Board of Trustees is pleased to announce its 21st anniversary celebration fundraiser, Modern Beginnings Gala. The gala will be held on Friday, February 22, 2013 at Southeastern Agricultural Center located in Lumberton, North Carolina. This black-tie affair has volunteers from throughout Robeson County working to make this event a memorable evening. Chairpersons for the Gala are: Dr. and Mrs. Christopher Walters and Dr. and Mrs. Daniel Walters.
The2nd Annual Boots & BBQ event sponsored by the SRMC Foundation Advocates was held on Friday, October 19, 2012, at the Southeastern Agricultural Center’s Farmer’s Market located in Lumberton. Over 230 guests danced the night away to the sounds of Déjà Vu and enjoyed a menu of BBQ with all of the fixings provided by The Front Restaurant. Proceeds from this event will provide needed funding for Southeastern Health’s Maternal Child Health Services, where our goal is to make each patient experience as memorable as possible.
