Lumberton, NC – August 28, 2012 – Southeastern Regional Medical Center has been named a recipient of The Jackson Group’s prestigious Laureate Award for Workplace Excellence. This is their third such award in five years. A representative of The Jackson Group presented the award to the hospital’s leadership on August 23.
The Laureate Award for Workplace Excellence was awarded to Southeastern based on Work Climate Survey results that exemplified excellence in the workplace over previous survey outcomes. This award signifies that Southeastern is firmly committed to providing a topnotch environment where teamwork and communication are paramount.
The Jackson Group, a survey services and consulting firm, along with the hospital’s leadership team and input from its employees, developed an action plan to monitor and gauge the successes of the organization. Work climate surveys were conducted over several years to measure employees’ workplace engagement levels, and to ensure that the environment remains positive and strong.
