What's New!

Examples of dedication are countless

The list could go on for days of all the Southeastern Health (SeHealth) employees and providers who stepped up to help during the Hurricane Matthew crisis.  They not only reached out to help people in the community but they also made SeHealth and Southeastern Regional Medical Center (SRMC) patients a priority.  Although there are countless situations of goodwill shown and heartache endured during this difficult time, the following are examples of some stories featuring SeHealth employees during Hurricane Matthew:

Delivering hope throughout the storm

In the days following Hurricane Matthew, many individuals in Robeson and surrounding counties were restricted to their homes because of the effects the storm, including power and water failures and road closures.  Others were needed in the community to do their jobs to help others including delivering life-saving supplies, like the staff of Southeastern Home Care Services (SHCS).

"All hands on deck"

Like many employees at Southeastern Health, Brian Hardin of the Performance Analytics and Business Development department, went over and beyond the call of duty following the aftermath of Hurricane Matthew both at Southeastern Regional Medical Center (SRMC) and in the community.

Damaged flag replaced

Southeastern Health Heart and Vascular staff and providers participated in a flag ceremony on Monday, Oct. 17 as members of the Mt. Olive National Guard replaced the American flag at the main entrance to Southeastern Regional Medical Center which was damaged by Hurricane Matthew.

Employee sacrifices provide example of health care leadership during a crisis

Jason Cox, Chief Operating Officer of Southeastern Regional Medical Center (SRMC), served as the incident commander for SRMC and opened the command center Saturday morning when it became clear that Hurricane Matthew would hit Robeson County and Lumberton. Read more...
