For caregivers of patients with Alzheimer’s disease and related disorders, this group meets the second Thursday each month at 6 p.m. in the dining room of WoodHaven Nursing and Alzheimer’s Care Center, 1150 Pine Run Drive, Lumberton. Call 671–5703 for more information.
For grieving individuals who have experienced the loss of a loved one, this group meets for four weeks in the fall and spring. Sessions begin on the first Thursday of September and the first Thursday of January. Meetings are held each week at 6:30 p.m. at Southeastern Hospice House (1100 Pine Run Drive), Lumberton. Sisters Network, a support group primarily for African American women diagnosed with breast cancer, meets periodically at the Dr. A.J. Robinson Medical Clinic, 800 Martin Luther King Jr. Dr., Lumberton. Call 738–3175 for more information.
Gibson Cancer Center sponsors support groups for individuals who have been diagnosed with cancer and their caregivers. Diabetes Community Network

Gibson Cancer Center sponsors the Unique Surviving Sisters support group for women diagnosed with breast cancer and other cancers of the reproductive system.
