Festival of Trees
Since 1986, our annual Festival of Trees has been a wonderful and festive way to kick off each holiday season the first full weekend in December. As the largest fundraiser for Southeastern Hospice, area businesses, schools, civic organizations and even individuals sponsor and/or decorate the most creative and gorgeous Christmas trees. Held in the Robeson County Public Library’s Osterneck Auditorium in downtown Lumberton, school groups, nursing home residents and the public are treated to an amazing array of imaginative and inspired holiday cheer.

Unique Boutique
During the Festival of Trees, our fund-raising committee hosts a very special gift shop. Local bakers, artists and craftsmen donate their work to benefit our work. The atmosphere is always festive, the selections are exceptional, prices are reasonable and the café beverages and sweets provide that little extra something that makes holiday shopping with us especially delightful.

Each spring, our fund-raising committee hosts a wonderful fashion show. Sponsored by Sisters’ Boutique & Shoes, co-owner Alicia Moody moderates as ladies of our community donate their time and beauty to model the latest fashions. We also offer an abundance of creative items for sale and silent auction as well as delicious refreshments.

Southeastern Hospice will hold Camp Care Bereavement Weekend Experience for Children as a way for children to find support, especially from others their own age who have experienced similar losses.
The camp offers recreational programming as well as grief related activities. This will include crafts and games.
Grief related activities are experienced in small groups where the children will be encouraged to express themselves through arts and crafts, as well as stories and mementos of the deceased.
