COVID-19 Testing Site
UNC Health Southeastern will continue to offer self-referred COVID-19 testing at the drive-through lab on the hospital’s main campus until Friday, Oct. 29.
“We are transitioning away from self-referred COVID-19 testing due to the decline in overall cases and since there are other community testing resources available, however, we will continue testing by physician order at the hospital drive-through site,” stated UNC Health Southeastern Vice President and Chief Nurse Executive Renae Taylor.
After October 29, individuals may continue to receive rapid COVID-19 testing at the drive-through site managed by NC Department of Health and Human Services located in the parking lot of Southeastern Health Park on Dawn Drive, Lumberton.
Patients who have symptoms of COVID-19 may seek treatment at UNC Health Southeastern primary care and urgent care clinics.
UNC Health Southeastern’s Express Lab offers COVID-19 testing at the medical center’s drive-through laboratory on Barker Street Monday through Friday from 6:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Patients who receive a Rapid test for COVID-19 at UNC Health Southeastern’s drive-through laboratory site should have results available on MyChart no later than 10 p.m. the same day of testing.
